Students who spend Shabbatot and Chagim at YBT are invited to meals with their rabbeim and other Yeshiva families where they experience a true “home away from home” feeling, complete with excellent food and warm camaraderie. In addition to developing long lasting friendships, students have the opportunity to witness and appreciate what it means to really live the Torah that they’ve been learning.

 

The Yeshiva offers unique learning opportunities every Shabbat and Yom Tov, including kiddush with rabbeim, chaburah-learning with alumni, and special shiurim given by Rosh HaYeshiva, Rabbi Yisroel Chait. On Motzei Shabbat the Yeshiva regularly holds a melava malka where the students are encouraged to participate in an open forum for dialogue, discussion and inquiry, providing delicious refreshments for our students to enjoy.
